This is an adult pottery class to explore new visions, dreams, and ideas while working with clay. Basic and intermediate lessons for sculpture, hand-building, and wheel activities. Discussions of artistic ideas, glazing techniques, kiln-firing techniques, along with specific areas of interest to the students are addressed.
Ages 16 & Up Wednesday, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm for 4 sessions (2 hrs).

Students will learn, at their own pace, all aspects of wheel throwing. Emphasis will be on fundamental skills and techniques required for beginners. Intermediate students will continue refinement of fundamental skills and techniques. Emphasis is placed on consistency of sets, achievement of the artist's intent, and embellishment of
pieces. Ages 13 and Up, Saturdays 10:00 am - 12 noon or 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

This is a family class where parents and children can come and be creative together. This is an ongoing, 6-week class. Over the 6 weeks, we cover hand-building techniques of pinch, coil, and slab, surface decoration and glazing, plus introduction to the wheel.
Ages 5 & Up, Mondays or Thursdays, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm for 6 sessions (1.5 hrs).

$120 for parent and one child includes Materials and Firing fees. (additional children, please call for
pricing) Starts: Any Monday or Thursday.

Come play in clay! This studio class will cover the basics of building ceramics by hand and using the potter's wheel. It includes decorating, firing and glazing of both functional (plates, cups, bowls) and sculptural ceramics. Studio activities are tailored to the individuals interests and needs. Specific lessons/activities are available if needed.
Ages 8 to 18 Thursday afternoons, 2:00pm - 4:00pm for 4 sessions (2hrs).
